Very nice sandwiches. Ice-cream was tempting, but we resisted (and I'm still regretting it). Salad was wonderful. Friendly staff. I recommend visiting here!
This is a great place to take a break and get out of the heat! Lots of flavors and real ice cream, it will cost you about 9.00 for two scoops in a cup... pricy but really good.
I ordered cookies for my granddaughter’s 5th birthday. I forget the cookie designer’s name (Kristin?) she ordered a special cookie cutter to make the SquashMallow cookies. They were precious! Everything is delicious! The cookies were a hit. We had to negotiate with the children so each of them would receive their favorite and have one to take home. The adults loved them just as much. Thank you for all you do to bake for Fredericksburg.
My wife and I went to visit this beautiful town of Fredericksburg. After having breakfast and a little walk on town, we decided to have a sweet, so we ran across this small bakery where there was people coming in and out, we walk in, and it looks like a 50's dinner. They have a lot of sweets, bakery and also food. I only had a chocolate chip cookie. Have to say, it was really good and a good size. Stayed there for a little while, and saw all the decorations. Great cookies, great atmosphere. Will come back again.
Love this place, old fashioned and very tasty treats! We didn’t get the ice cream but it looked really good too!!
Little town of Fredericksburg has a Main Street, which is where most of the tourists are seen strolling around. We visited on a beautiful sunny day in end of December. Street was filled with people. We wanted to enjoy a cool ice-cream and searched on google maps for the nearest shop. Clear River popped up in the search with 1k reviews. Obviously it's a popular place. The line for ice cream was out of the door. They have sandwiches and cookies and some other lunch options. But majority of the people were there for the ice cream. It didn't disappoint. I took Salted Carmel flavor and it was delicious. They let you taste before selecting the flavor. I also tried Mocha Almond Fudge.
Super fast service made even better by the atmosphere and old school music. Even the other customers can't help but be friendly. And having different flavors than the usual was fantastic.
This was our first trip for my wife and I. She had the peach cobbler a la mode with vanilla ice cream. I had the bourbon snickers in a waffle cone and my son had cookies-n-cream in a cup. The ice creams were really good but a bit pricey. Well worth it to take a break from the hot summer Texas sun and enjoy a cold treat.
